How to Choose Your Amulet? 如何选择你的佛牌?

This article gives advice about choosing your amulets.

There is no such a thing as the best or the most powerful amulet per see,  so the best advice is to choose your amulet(s) according to several factors which one should carefully and honestly examine:-

 

Intention or Wishes

Why do you want an amulet?  What do you want to do with it?  Are you going to harm anybody with it?  Bully or intimidate?  Get an unfair advantage?  Get girls for raunchy sex?  Or just want to be given an opportunity to advance yourself in life?

Amulets have different usages.  You must use the correct amulet for the intended result.  For example, if you are a sales person who wants a roaring sales business, getting an amulet for protection, no matter how powerful, is not going to help your sales.

 

Faith and Confidence

Do you believe in spiritual power and the power of amulets?  If you really believe and have faith in the power of amulets, then, the intuition will come to you to choose the right amulet for you.  You will know it at that time.

 

Your Circumstances

These may be personal, family, residence, work, social life, competition, luck, etc. etc.

Will family or spouse object to you wearing or owning amulets?  Will your priest object?  Will you have space in your residence to put your amulets in a respectful place?  Where and how will you store your amulets?  How large can your amulets be before they become a nuisance or embarrassment?  How will your boss or colleagues view your belief in amulets?  Do you need amulets at work to pacify the boss or colleagues?  Do you need amulets to shield yourself from back-stabbers?  Do you suffer intense or awkward competition?  Are you in the down trough of luck?

 

Virtue

Do you believe in virtue and the good sacred holy things in life?  Do you aim and try to be a good person and shun evil thoughts, words, and deeds?  If you are virtuous, your guardian angel will lead you to your amulet.  Maybe the amulet chose you to be the owner!

 

Finances

How much money do you have and how much are you willing to spend on an amulet?

 

Taste

What sort or form of amulets do you like?  Fancy-looking stuff?  Beautiful artistic?  Plain simple?  Expensive stuff?  El cheapos?  Old stuff?  New modern stuff?  Buddha image?  Erotic or naughty looking stuff?  Into spiritual stuff?  Into occult stuff?  Mild or really powerful Big Bang stuff?

 

Quick results or slow and steady?

Want a quick result?  Usually, the occult or sorcery stuff give fast results, but may be some danger involved if one is not careful and steady in the heart.  Mainstream amulets work slowly and steadily.  Many good amulets work so unnoticeably that there seem to be no incidents in the owner’s life!

 

Power and Virtue of the Monks

In these days, powerful and good masters are hard to find.  Everybody who has learnt a little becomes a great and famous master!  One is advised to investigate carefully and not rely on rumours or newspaper stories.  Many famous masters are not powerful.  You may be surprised!

 

How desperate are you?

Do you need the amulets and are you desperate to get them?

 

After having carefully considered the above factors, please listen to advice of experienced amulet collectors and monks.  Please consider the following points.

• A famous monk or famous amulet does not mean it is powerful.  Many famous monks have little power.
  • Because of ‘corruption’, most new amulets have very little power.  They are used for trading and fundraising.  The amulet business is a roaring trade!  The real amulets – amulets with power, would be the old ones, but would be very expensive because they are now collector’s items.  Very few amulet sellers practise chanting diligently for their amulets so how can their amulets be powerful?
  • A powerful or good amulet does not necessarily help you because you may have obstacles preventing you from benefiting from the beneficial energies of the amulets.  You may need a cleansing first.
  • An amulet that is good and helpful to one person may not be useful and helpful to another person.
  • One has to feel out the amulet or use trial and error.
  • A cheap amulet may be powerful, and an expensive amulet may not be powerful.  Price does not necessarily equate power.
  • Rare and powerful and famous amulets are very very very expensive!  Unless you have the money, you are advised not to hanker after them.
  • Avoid amulet traders if possible!   It is alright to sell amulets, but it is commonly believed that trading in Buddha images as if they are ordinary goods is not the behaviour of a good person.
  • You must take care of your amulets, treat them with respect, and attune to them.

Even a good powerful amulet will eventually not work for you if you do not treat it with loving care.  (Will your wife treat you nicely and lovingly if you always put her down and beat her?)

• You must practise chanting, merit and virtue for your amulets to help you properly.

Do not blame the amulet if you conduct your life in foolish or immoral ways.  Choosing a powerful amulet is not a good option if you wish to be a hooligan or a greedy or quarrelsome person.

 

There are some reputable dealers.  Ask them for advice.  Do not buy if you have any doubt.  Do not buy if the dealer is too keen to sell you amulets.  Do not buy if the dealer does not seem to diligently practise chanting, meditation, virtue or merit.
